Given the opportunity to brew an exclusive beer for the Kean's Head pub in Nottingham, I created a cranberry and orange sour from idea to outcome. The Kean's Head is one of Castle Rock Brewery's pubs in Nottingham's city centre and offered me to go to the brewery and brew a beer of their choice on the pilot brew kit. I came with my ideas for the beer style and conversed with the brewer to understand the possibilities and limitations, resulting in the final beer. When it came to the actual brew I helped prep ingredients and watched the process closely, intrigued by the amount of chemistry involved!
