A visual and critical analysis of Steven
Klein’s L’envie series in which I had
to decode imagery to understand
their meaning and what they are
communicating. In my analysis I
picked out references to voyeurism,
female dominance, the seven deadly
sins, the male gaze, and lust to name a
few. I explored these themes through
art, film, photography, and gender
theory, in order to form a nuanced
and considered analysis.
